Spring Babies

Every April God rewrites the book of Genesis
Austin O'Malley

Come with Me
By Elece

Put on your bare feet and come outside;
Come see the wonders that I have spied.
Come see the yellow flowers, purple ones too,
Come see grass green poking up through.

Come feel the warm wind blowing your hair
Come feel the sweet sun shining everywhere
Come see the leaves uncurling on the trees
Come hear the buzzing of the bumblebees.

Put on your bare feet and come outside
Come see the wonders that I have spied.

  1. This poem is one of my mama's favorites. She liked the picture of my grandbaby girl and the line Put on your bare feet. Thanks for your reading, Paula.
