Sunflower
Summer's paintbrush
Dipped in gold sunlight,
Swirled in orange sunsets,
Stroked in dark soil,
Dabbled across oceans of sky,
Lighted with firefly beams,
Spangled in dragonfly sparkles,
Splashed on the parchment of August.
