On white and green
An artist's afternoon dream.
With sleepy eyes, sleepy mind,
Contemplating flowers like stars
Of heaven in number,
Like children of Abraham,
Like grains of sand,
Waves of grass
Lapping, lapping
Gently
On the meadow's shore.
