Years of sunlight have
Warmed the rooms
Behind these windows
Played across them
With mottled shadows
Summer, winter, spring, fall
On these stones
Reflected the sky in
Warbled glass
Warmed walls
Years and years of sunlight
Sunlight and shadows
Moonlight and noonlight
Shadows
