Dogwood

Petals like white crosses 

Pure  and innocent as Jesus was

 Each petal tip touched through with red 

Where thorns and nails pierced Him.

 Each centered with a crown

 Fit for a king. 

Dogwood blooms at Easter 

To remind us God loves us. 

He does.
